Antique Set of 4 Regency Style Mahogany Dining Chairs w Sabre Legs

This set of antique Regency style mahogany dining chairs consists of 4 beautiful side chairs. The set was made in England around 1960 and recently imported to our antique furniture store in Atlanta, GA. The back features a simple carved decoration to help break up the smooth lines that are prevalent in Regency chairs. True to the Regency style, these chairs all have sabre shaped legs and rolled tops. The seats are all removable for easy cleaning or recovering. The mahogany is a rich brown mahogany that has a beautiful patina which will continue to grow more beautiful over time. The entire set of dining chairs is very sturdy, although they have sustained wear marks particularly on the legs. One chair has a large dent near the top (pictured) and another chair has 2 repaired breaks to the top (pictured). Overall this is a lovely set of chairs that has a charming antique look and will last for years to come.Dimensions: 18" wide x 20" deep x 34" high
